After graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1988 Paul was able to travel under scholarship to study the megalithic structures in Ireland, England, and Europe. Stonehenge and the mysterious stone formations had major influence on his work, two of his larger works can be seen on the Alberene Soapstone Company campus in Schuyler VA.
